I was referred to Grove City Family Dentistry years ago and that was one of the best referrals I’ve ever received. When you think about it, who likes to visit the dentist?  We all hear people do their impersonations of the high pitch noise you hear when the dentist is drilling to remove your cavity and that sends a chill up most people’s spines.  While that’s not the sweetest sound in the world, the staff at GCFD do their best to help make you forget about that unpleasant noise.

While I’ve had the privilege of meeting numerous staff at GCFD, and all have made me feel relaxed and welcome, three people in particular I want to mention. I’ve probably dealt most with Dr. Mitchell, Mandy and Becky and all three of them have been extremely friendly.  They all make me feel relaxed and welcome, never leaving me with a doubt that needs will be taken care of in the best way possible.  Some dentists would be quick to suggest high priced treatment……..Dr. Mitchell understands how this affects people’s budgets and puts their interests over his practice’s, bottom line.  This is not to say he will not recommend a procedure if he feels it’s absolutely necessary. But Dr. Mitchell makes these things a last option and I truly appreciate that. When I come in for treatment, I can expect a very friendly conversation with Mandy and she puts me at ease with her casual joking and sharing what’s going on with her family. When it’s time to leave and head out the door, there’s no person I would rather see than Becky, who is do down to earth and warm, kind and friendly.

Some people hate to visit the dentist………I welcome those visits and I will always be glad to send any family or friends to Grove City Family Dentistry, where I know they’ll be handled with the highest care and professionalism.

For over 50 years I have hated going to the Dentist. Bad experiences as a child have created a lifelong fear and disturst. Dr. Mitchell is the first Dentist I have felt comfortable with. He is low-key in his approach, and extremely gentle. Most of all he shows sincere respect to his patients. I’ve gone from hating the Dentist to recommeding him to friends and family.
