Why are dental x-rays so important?
Monday, August 10th, 2009X-rays are a very important part of your dental exam. An x-ray is capable of revealing things that are not visible to the eye.
Such as…
- Areas of decay between teeth
- Infection in the bone
- Abcesses
and other types of developmental abnormalities.
Allowing annual radiographs will save time and unnecessary discomfort.
